Therapy near London Bridge and online worldwide

Ksenia Gorenstein, PGDip, MBACP

I offer weekly therapy in person near London Bridge and online worldwide. In-person sessions are held in a quiet, wheelchair-accessible building a few minutes’ walk from London Bridge station.

Sessions last 50 minutes and are available on weekdays, including some early mornings and evenings, and on Saturday mornings.

A place to step out of your usual roles

Many people come to therapy while continuing to function well in demanding environments. You may be managing work, relationships and other people’s expectations while feeling anxious, exhausted or increasingly disconnected from yourself. You may understand your patterns intellectually but find that understanding alone has not changed them.

Therapy offers a regular space in which you do not have to remain capable, productive or certain. We can pay attention to what has become difficult, as well as to experiences that may not have room elsewhere.

You may know what you want help with, or only know that the way you are living no longer feels sustainable. Both are valid places to begin.

How I work

My training is in psychosynthesis, a relational and integrative approach that does not reduce a person to a single symptom or isolated problem.

The work may include your present circumstances, earlier experiences, relationships, thoughts, feelings, bodily responses, identity, imagination and questions of meaning. Most sessions take the form of conversation, but we do not always have to rely on words alone. At times, a more creative or experiential way of working can help us approach something from a different direction.

There is no set formula. How we work develops between us, according to what feels useful and right for you.

What people bring to therapy

You do not need a diagnosis or a single clearly defined problem to begin. People come for many reasons, including:

These experiences do not always arrive separately. Anxiety may be connected with work, identity with relationships, or present difficulties with something much older. Therapy gives us room to understand these connections without deciding too quickly what your experience means.

In person or online

I offer both in-person and online therapy, and neither is treated as a secondary option. The quality of the work depends less on sharing a physical room than on the relationship we develop and whether the setting allows you to feel sufficiently private, present and at ease.

Some people value travelling to a separate space and the sense of transition this creates around a session. Others feel more able to speak openly from familiar surroundings, or find that online sessions fit more naturally around work, caring responsibilities, disability or travel.

Both formats allow us to attend to words, silences, emotions, bodily experience and what happens between us. They feel different, but online work is not simply a reduced version of meeting in person.

You may already know which you prefer, or we can think about it together. Some clients also combine the two when circumstances require it.

The London Bridge location

The consulting room is a few minutes’ walk from London Bridge station, served by the Jubilee and Northern lines and National Rail services.

It is also within walking distance of Borough station and convenient for the City, South Bank, Bermondsey and wider Southwark.

The building is wheelchair accessible. If you have other access requirements, you are welcome to ask about them before arranging a session.

The full address and arrival information will be provided when we confirm your appointment.

Sessions and fees

Sessions are:

You do not need to decide in advance how long you will come for. We can review the work together as it develops.

Arranging a first session

A first session is a chance to bring whatever has led you to seek therapy, ask questions and experience how it feels for us to work together. There is nothing to prepare and no expectation that you explain everything at once.

Booking an initial session does not commit you to continuing. Afterwards, you can decide whether you would like us to meet regularly.
